Receptionist – Lincoln

POSITION: Receptionist – Switchboard / Check-In

LOCATION: Lincoln

STATUS: Full-time (36 hours)

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-exempt

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday, Thursday & Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

SUMMARY: Answers phone calls and refers calls as appropriate, and assists patients with any needs they may have.  

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:  

  • Switchboard
  • Responsible for patient check-in and check-out
  • Obtain and update patient demographic & insurance information
  • Answer phones, create organizer messages, and schedule appointments
  • Posting of charges
  • Scanning
  • Collect payments

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be proficient with computers
  • Must be able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Health care reception experience preferred
