Although the vast majority of her career has been in health care management, she stays true to her roots with her primary focus directed toward providing high quality patient care and services to the community she refers to as home.

Sonia Maxwell has nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare with notable expertise in human resources, compliance, and risk management. She has devoted the majority of her administrative career to the community health center setting. Sonia champions ways to engage all employees in establishing a culture that develops leaders, empowers employees, promotes high ethical standards, and builds a dedicated workforce that meets the needs of the community.

Katie M. Adams, MD, FAAFP

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Katie M. Adams (she, her, hers) received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She is a family doctor who cares for patients of all ages, performs office based procedures, and provides substance use treatment. Dr. Adams is excited to be a part of HAN's leadership team as the Chief Medical Officer and is committed to fostering culture rich in compassion, communication, and understanding.

He has dedicated his career to strengthening operations, spearheading innovative programs and services, developing partnerships and shared goals, and bridging data with the voices of patients and staff to truly capture a health center’s story.

Wanda Kimball, MBA

Wanda has more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience that she brings to Health Access Network.  Wanda relocated to Lincoln in 2017 from Bangor, where she had served what is now the Northern Light Health system as a grant accountant, accounting manager and financial analyst in the physician practice management group. Wanda is excited to lead HAN's finance management and reporting efforts and to play a valuable role on the organization's leadership team.
