Dr. Adams grew up in Southern Maine and received her Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Medical Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of New England.
She received her Medical Degree in 2013 from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center.
She is a board certified Family Medicine Physician, a member of the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). In 2023 she earned her Degree of Fellow in Family Medicine which recognizes AAFP members who have distinguished themselves in the Family Medicine field by their advancement of health care in their communities and by their professional development through medical education.
Dr. Adams enjoys caring for patients of all ages and believes in providing evidence-based, high quality, compassionate care to those in need without financial or social discrimination. She does this through a continued pursuit of education, advocacy work, shared decision making with patients, and through interdisciplinary teamwork to achieve a shared mission. Personal interests include traveling, spending time with family including her two littles, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
