Kimberly House, LCSW, is a native of Maine and has lived in Lincoln since 2003. She has been employed at HAN in the behavioral health department since 2008. When she joined HAN, her youngest child was 4 months old and she is now in Middle school- how time flies!
Originally, Kim’s goal was to work with children and families but she was surprised how much she enjoys counseling adults and adolescents. Currently, she provides services at Health Access Network in the Lincoln office, Colonial Nursing Home and Assisted Living, and the school based health center at Mattanawcook Academy.
Kim started her career in the mental health field with her License of Social Work in 1996 working in a group home with adults with developmental disabilities. She had worked in outpatient, residential, and school-based settings providing educational case management and community mental health until 2003 when she completed my Masters degree in Social Work.
Most of Kim’s time outside of work is spent with her husband and two daughters. She volunteers in the community in Girl Scouts and Little League Softball and engages in all of her kids’ activities. She has enjoyed watching her daughters grow into their own personalities and has a greater respect for the parents that she works with.
