Earlier this week, 170 households were provided with food – the results of a Good Shepherd Food Mobile event coordinated by Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine, Lincoln Regional Food Cupboard, Thrive Penobscot and Health Access Network.
This partnership builds upon last fall’s food mobile event and the 125 households served.
Members of HAN’s Care Coordination, including nurses and a licensed social worker, were onsite to participate and were grateful to see our community members receiving the food they need.
We are pleased to share that the remaining food was brought to the Lincoln Regional Food Cupboard.
