Successful Community Partnership Brings Good Shepherd Food Mobile to Lincoln

125 households were provided with food – the results of today’s Good Shepherd Food Mobile event. Thank you to Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine, to Lincoln Regional Food Cupboard and to Thrive Penobscot for all of your effort and coordination, and for having us as a community partner.

We are pleased to share that the remaining food was brought to Lincoln Regional Food Cupboard, or delivered to patients that could not make it to the event by our care coordinators.

We didn’t feel it was our place to show images of the parking lot at Knights of Columbus initially filled with cars, or a line of people patiently waiting for food, and the same can be said for audio of the words of appreciation expressed…but we can tell you this…it all happened. Thanks to all who helped with the event and for those of you who helped spread the word.

Making a difference in the lives of our patients and our community.

Providing compassionate, high quality healthcare services for all.
